CA bay laurels are back in bloom. Other things seem close. There was a set of wakerobins at the botanical garden that was budding.
California Slender Salamander on a coast live oak leaf on a bed of Monterey pine needles.
Found under almost exactly the same log I found this guy, maybe the same one.
At the very end of the day the sun poked through over the Golden Gate, and I found this little Arboreal, which I'd been looking for.
Found my only pair of newts for a day seeking shelter in a hollow at the base of an oak.
