Super excited to see this rattler stretched across the trail yesterday. Stayed in this position for almost a minute, snapped a bunch of pictures, then it coiled up, spun around, and slithered off into the surrounding brush. Had a very soft sounding rattle as it retreated. In the picture, the rattle is somewhat obstructed by some grass but I can count 10 rattles.
