This is one of the largest Holly Trees in the world at about 65 feet high. This particular tree was just a sapling when the pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock. It was just a sprig when the Susquehannock Indians dominated this area. It holds historic meaning on this site as a sprig is taken from its branches each year to commemorate the history of the museum site.
This particular frog was not only very cooperative with my photos but also had an interesting coloration.
This is the same snake I saw over aw week ago just before a molt. I thought maybe it was a Short-Head Garter Snake but it must have just been the angle I saw it at. Seen here freshly molted and at this angle I can see that its just a regular Eastern Garter Snake. In the same exact spot as it was in before too =)
