Description: The Bufflehead is a small duck with a large round head, steep forehead and small beak. The male is black above with a large white pattern on the head. The female is similar with a brown body and a white cheek spot.

Habitat: Found on both fresh and salt bodies of water.

Fun Facts: The Bufflehead nests in woodpecker holes in trees.
