Description: The Golden-crowned Kinglet is a tiny songbird with an olive gray body, a black eyebrow stripe, and an orange streak on its head. They have a thin white wing bar.

Habitat: Mature coniferous forests.

Fun Facts: Kinglets are found in mixed flocks of birds with chickadees and creepers. The Golden-crowned Kinglet is not much bigger than a hummingbird and it can survive –40 degree nights, sometimes huddling together for warmth.
