Description: Tree Swallows are a small aerodynamic bird with pointed wings and a forked tail. Adults are a glimmering greenish blue with black feathers on their back, and white on their front. The females are duller than the males, but with similar markings. Juveniles are all brown.

Habitat: Open woods and meadows.

Fun Facts: Tree Swallows use their fast agile flying skills to catch insects. They build a grass nest lined with feathers in holes in trees and in bird boxes.
