Ball pythons prefer grasslands and sparsely wooded areas. Usually found in West Africa, in Sierra Leone, Togo, Senegal, Guinea Bissau, Cameroon, Gambia, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Central African Republic, Ghana, Benin, Niger, Burkina Faso, Democratic of Congo,Mali, Uganda and Sudan

Rodents, small lizards , carnivorous

At this time in the wild, there is a healthy population of Ball Pythons.

Ball Pythons have a Jacobson's organ, a forked tongue, they are nocturnal and solitary
