The Gyrfalcon (/ˈdʒɜrfɔːlkən/ or /ˈdʒɜrfælkən/), also spelled gerfalconFalco rusticolus—is the largest of the falcon species. The Gyrfalcon breeds on Arctic coasts and the islands of North America, Europe, and Asia.
