Xanthoparmelia is a genus of lichen belonging to the family Parmeliaceae. Xanthoparmelia is synonymous with Almbornia, Neofuscelia, Chondropsis, Namakwa, Paraparmelia, and Xanthomaculina. This family of lichen is commonly found on the mid-east coast of the United States.
