Found this animal under a large tree in primary growth along a trail at Hitoy Cerere biological Reserve.
Shedding! Found accidentally, I was looking for Codonanthe crassifolia :)
Nototriton abscondens found in the canopy at approx. 2050 m asl. Specimen was buried in canopy "mud" along a horizontal branch, between a tree limb and a layer of moss/epiphytic mat. Limb radiated out from approx. 7 m up the main bole. Limb diameter: ~30cm, accounting for epiphytic mat- ~45cm.

Especie de ave que se encuentra en áreas abiertas con árboles y arbustos, jardines en las afueras de la ciudad, parques y plazas de ciudades y sitios con crecimiento secundario. También se localizan en bordes de bosque húmedo, inclusive en descenso hasta el dosel. Esta fue vista en la Zona de los Santos, Cordillera de Talamanca a 1600 m.s.n.m
Found on coffee bush in small coffee plantation near forest fragment.
A rare hylid frog, found in 2008 again in Monteverde since 1988. This new place was another Highland zone afected by lost of ambiphians. In Cordillera Volcanica Central.
