I have proposed merging the field "count" with this field "Count"
http://inaturalist.org/observation_fields/751
does anyone have any objection?

Posted by tony_wills over 8 years ago

none from me

Posted by loarie over 8 years ago

@loarie: I sent a message to the other "count" field creator, but they appear to be no longer active.
In some cases the system doesn't recognise there are two different fields by the same name, eg if you click on "View more search options" above you get taken to
"http://inaturalist.org/observations?field%3Acount="
If you do the same from the other "count" field you get taken to exactly the same (ie wrong) page.

So could you change the single project (mt-diablo-morgan-fire-2013) that is using the lowercase "count" field, to using this one, then we can merge the fields?

Posted by tony_wills over 8 years ago

Hi Tony - you'd have to talk to the mt-diablo-morgan-fire-2013 about changing that project's fields, I don't have permission to do that

Posted by loarie over 8 years ago

The same person set up the project as created the field, but Ken-ichi has changed it, so merge now done, thanks :-)
