In hunting mode. There was a large lump in the upper body indicating she just ate a large animal

Hopped right across the edge of the creek in front of me

Initially flipped under a rock but it ran away

Found in the crawl adjacent to a dilapidated barn

Larger individual. Largest of several at the spring on the Mule’s Ears Trail in BBNP.

Found at the spring of Mule’s Ear Spring Trail in Big Bend National Park. Was Hiding in ferns before emerging.
