Indian pipes are common on the forest floor here, usually seen in April. Now with several days of cooler temperatures and moisture, they are appearing again in July
I now understand and recognize the two different species of Monotropa, thanks to iNaturalist

Comments & Identifications
Welcome to iNat! I think this one is actually M. hypopytis b/c of the multiple flowers and yellow coloration.
Do you agree with Ken-ichi's ID or are you sticking with M. uniflora? I don't know my eastern Monotropa
I will defer to Ken-ichi. I am not able to speciate reliably this genus. I will observe more examples and consult with a botanist friend who lives in Floyd Co.
