This looks like milkweed to me

Asclepias ovalifolia appears to be uncommon and found only in the upper midwest. The common name for it was confusingly just "milkweed", so I added "Oval-Leaved Milkweed" as a new English name. I suspect you meant to ID it as "some kind of milkweed" instead of this particular species, but I'm less sure since there's not a location here. Can you add where it was observed?
