I have had a wildlife camera in the field all summer now and have had little to no success in capturing any activity, until yesterday! I checked the card and found some great photos of coyotes in action. The first one looks like the coyote has a ground squirrel in it's mouth, a late breakfast I suppose? There were also a few shots of its hind quarters as it walked around the tree and camera in the late afternoon. This second photo is great! The last time I had checked the camera was in the middle of July, so would it still have a scent on it or did the coyote see the infrared flash and come to investigate? Either way, pretty cool picture I think.
