I have heard that Dioscorea batatas is becoming problematic in central Ohio and this looks like what I have had described to me. iNat does not appear to recognize either.
Didn't realize this family was in FNA... Dioscorea batatas is a synonym of D. polystachya. I picked up D. oppositifolia somewhere online, which is misapplied to to this species.
The data quality assessment is a summary of an observation's accuracy. All
observations start as "casual" grade, and achieve
"research" grade when
the iNat community agrees with the observer's ID, where an "agreeing"
identification is one that matches exactly or is of a child taxon of the
