Description

On Thunder Ridge on the Appalachian Trail (off of the Blue Ridge Parkway), there is a huge carpet of Mayapples surrounding the trail. From above, you couldn't even tell they were in bloom. If you have to get low to the ground and look under the broad leaves to see single, delicate white flowers hidden underneath.
