Description

This is sort of a big maybe. I was driving down Skyline (and then Tunnel) on my way back from Sibley when a mammal dashed across the road in less than a second. It looked bigger and longer than a domestic cat, almost fisher-sized, and it had a big long bushy tail about as long as the body. If I use my imagination I can recall the rings, but really it was more of a blur. Too big for a cat, too much tail for a bobcat, way bigger than a weasel: gotta be a ringtail, right?
