This looks more like P. californicum / calirhiza to me (ovate, greenish sori), but telling those two apart seems kind of subjective. This one def. seems to have larger segments in the middle of the frond, though, which would indicate P. calirhiza.

Young immature sori will always be green, turning later to yellow, orange, brown, so coulour as well as shape - elliptic/round, are not much helpful, not relyable characters.
In this case - i GUESS the fern might be rather P. glyc. or possibly calirhiza than californicum.
We may imagine that hybridogenous calirhiza will be able to change gross appearance, looking more like calif. in drier, like glyc. in more humid shadier places.
So this genus forces us to prove the tiny details to get sure, still don't we love complex creatures? - no matter if human or not :-)
