For as many red-winged blackbirds as I've seen in and around Peacocks Pocket and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge in central Florida, I sure don't have very many decent photographs to show for them... I snagged a better one later in the day elsewhere in the refuge, but I wanted to represent this one along the edge of Peacocks Pocket. This species is extremely active at and throughout Merritt Island.
