for context, see Daily Account on 4/1 for Nisqually Delta Restoration. we saw and heard a number of robbins- this is one i managed to take a picture of. i don't know what kind of tree it was sitting in, but it was very puffy- you can see that its chest looks very thrust out. i wonder if that was simply because it was cold, or if it was also a reaction to seeing so many people (feeling threatened or scared?).
