Do you know what is the sex of this viper?
I know males are brigher colored in this species. But from this dorsal position i could not determine where the tail starts. Still, looks like a female to me, but not sure. Anyway, a great photo of just shaded snake, which is getting ready to mate.

To be honest i am an amateur,i mean i always loved reptiles since i was a kid but i don't pretend that i know everything.I found this viper yesterday April 27 after hours of searching and when i was about to turn back home i found this beauty.Yea,right it has awesome colors and looked very healthy and well fed.The place i search often for snakes is great for whip snakes also but i think it's a bit early for them to appear.
