Description

While walking threw howarth park, I noticed tons of these oak trees. Just some common oaks, but they must really enjoy howarth park, since there were so many of them. Most of them had some lichen growing on them, or poison ivy crawling up the side of it. The soil was mostly dirt with some dried leaves and sticks and stuff.

I'd guess Quercus lobata but the leaf shape in your photos (ideally you'd take a photo of a single leaf as well). You really make tons of iNat effort today Courtney. Nice job. I like the effort you make in your ID and description.

I still have a ton more to upload, actually...It just takes forever to find all the identifications for everything, as well as getting it all uploaded into iNat. Thanks for the advice though, I will make sure to get pictures of a single leave next time as well.
