Found this frog whilst walking not far from home one evening photographed and released.
Not sure of the species,a friend thought it might be a Platymantis negrosensis.
Hi Loarie, According to my friend who's more of an expert than me on Amphibians they do occur in Iloilo (Panay island), it is the neighboring island to Negros to which the frog was presumably named after (Platymantis negrosensis). That said the reason I haven't listed it as P.negrosensis is that I haven't been able to locate a photo or any solid info to say for certain. Hoping some of you experts will be able to ID it. Thanks in advance. Neil
The data quality assessment is a summary of an observation's accuracy. All
observations start as "casual" grade, and achieve
"research" grade when
the iNat community agrees with the observer's ID, where an "agreeing"
identification is one that matches exactly or is of a child taxon of the
observer's ID. For example, if Scott says it's a mammal and Ken-ichi
says it's Homo sapiens, then Ken-ichi agrees with Scott.

Observations will revert to "casual" grade if the above conditions aren't met or
