Is the location of this specific plant correct? Was this inside that neglected mining pit?

Good finding anyway. It is pretty rare there I know just a few spots where it is present. It is enthusiastically being eaten by local domestic ruminants, especially goats. My feeling is that the only reliable way to protect them is to to put fences areound habitat patches supporting this beautiful flower.

It is good.
I have never seen it before inside this sand pit. One extra colony.
I wa actually thinking about smaller fences (like ones on graveyards), which would prevent animals from entering, but so human beings can enjoy the wild with it's flowers etc.
