There are a couple nice laurel trees just to the right of the main entrance to Kincaid Hall. Take a look next time you are down, and crush a leaf to check out the smell. This is the laurel cherry; often used in hedges in the Puget Sound region, but becoming a nasty invasive in the understory of urban forests.
