for context, please see Daily Account for Skykomish River E of Goldbar, WA on 5/12. wikipedia says that another common name for herb robert is "Death come quickly," which is slightly disturbing (i wonder why that is?). i recognize this weed from my own garden at home, which means it must be a fairly successful and widely adapting noxious weed/invasive species. it was flowering with small pink flowers, and smelled earthy- others seem to dislike the smell, i thought it smelled fine.
