Not sure what this is. Big, fleshy fruit, growingt among the roses and bittersweet in the dunes.

They certainly look that way. There are plenty of roses growing there, but most of the bushes were densely thorny. I was back there on Xmas and I saw some other plants that looked like this and they did have thorns, so maybe there are multiple species of rose there.
