Common Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina)Observer

I was able to find the same individual (documented here https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/171887832) again and can confirm it is a snapping turtle. It was part of a congregation of red-eared sliders. This time, I was able to see its full body underwater including its legs, its full shell, and its tail. It swam around slowly as if waiting to be fed. I also have videos of this individual.

Did not expect to see this. Among many red-eared sliders, I saw what looks like a snapping turtle. Only the head was visible, the body was obscured by turbid water. The turtle swam a bit and was part of a congregation of sliders expecting to be fed.

Old photos of an oak leaf I found back in 2019. Unfortunately I do not have photos of the tree itself. It looks to me like Q. kelloggii x wislizeni.
