Missing DateDescription
Fruticose. Most likely borealis species based on what I found online under this genus and because it is most common in WA but I am unsure exactly what kind because it doesn't have any red on it (or any color other than the overall dull green/green). This was on a large stick in union bay natural area (not quote Yesler Swamp)

At first glance, this appeared to be a bufflehead because of it's white and black head, then I noticed it's irregular shape and clearly more prominent white section than on a bufflehead. Also it's body was more brown than the grey or white of the bufflehead,

Black bodies, white bill loud noises that sound like coots. I couldn't be sure if they had red heads or eyes due to distance but I am pretty sure they were coots.
Grouped in a nearly-endless cloud-like mob of black feathers and feet landing on the water around sundown.
