-Cryptic green, brown, and black coloration with distinctive light colored Y across dorsum and dark triangle on the cranium, small in size, call sounded like clicking marbles together
-Seen in fairly open pine forest with invading hardwoods, lots of leaf litter and fairly moist substrate and humid conditions
-Detection avoidance behavior sitting still until threat gets too close then hops several times a few meters away before remaining motionless again
