Very tall and straight. In my grandparent's backyard. Bark was a grayish brown. Alternate leaf structure.

Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum)Observer

Old sugar maple tree in our yard. About 50 feet, opposite leaf arrangement, and toothed. They tap the trees along our street for maple syrup every year.
