Tadpole of endangered Bromeliad frog (Bromeliohyla bromeliacia) found while dissecting bromeliads. Most of the dissected bromeliads are found between 20-75 feet, and many of these tadpoles have been found to be infected with chytrid fungus. Sometimes, one bromeliad will have many tadpoles in it. Preliminary results have shown that sometimes a few of the tadpoles will be infected and the others will not, even though they share the water.
