Bufflehead (Bucephala albeola)Observer

A bird with white on the back of his head and underbelly. It's hunting for either fish or plants at the bottom of the wetland. It dives under for about 10-15 sec at a time, comes back up for only about 5 seconds, then repeats. It was doing this the whole time I was observing it (about 15 min). Note that it is low tide (-1ft).

A pidgeon perked up on the bridge. As I got closer it flew away and hid under the bridge somewhere.

This is either green algae or moss. It's growing all along the edge of the wetland where the water meets the land. Also, from what I can see its growing under the water at the shallow spots.

Flying about 10 yards to the edge of the water where it seems to be hunting small fish. The bird is very tedious and sneaky. It's low tide (-1ft)
