Description

This particular individual was found floating in a bucket of sugar maple sap on the GNC property. This particular sugar maple is very old and has lots of places for insects to hide under the bark. It is known that this species likes to overwinter under the bark of trees and feed on maple sap. It was placed back on the trunk of the tree so it could be photographed.
