I set up the tunnel on our front lawn along the underside of the six foot fence under a tree. The tree provided shelter and made the tunnel inconspicuous. One adult hedgehog has been through the tunnel it has left smear marks from its belly in part of the tracking. I had to put the tunnel on the front lawn as we have two rather enthusiastic dogs and they chase off anything that comes onto our property.

The fence borders a rebuild section which is why I suspect there are so many footprints as the mouse population has not been controlled via trapping or cat hunting. I had to put the tunnel on the front lawn as we have two rather enthusiastic dogs and they chase off anything that comes onto our property.
