Giant kelp washed on to the rocks. Plentiful
Giant kelp at the dive site. Consistent healthy looking (no decay), at water temp of 67.
Plenty of fresh new growth, thick around reefs, blocking sunlight.
Also saw single blade kelp growth, fedora all in good conditions.
Will return for research site and take pictures

"Old Marine Land" site, Long Point to Cobble Beach.
Water temp 62 degrees at 55ft depth.
Healthy looking giant kelp from Long Point all the way to Cobble Beach. Depth most kelp observed 35ft.
Some decay on top near water surface, otherwise thick below that.

Giant kelp in abundance. Starting at 15ft down to 43ft. Water temp 57 at 7:30am.
Full growth reaching the surface. North side of Crescent Bay extending to Seal Rock.
Looked healthy and green without discoloration in water further out and deeper. Near the shallows some decay.
Meristem present on lots of kelp.

loose giant kelp, in pretty good shape, at 25ft, lying in sand at the bottom. No sign of decay on leaves. No discoloration.
