This is a young healthy Scots pine (pinus sylvestris). It's about 5 metres tall and can grow up to 35 metres tall. The needles are bunched in groups of two or three on the branches. They are also quite of few pine cones on the tree.

This is Saskatoon (Amelanchier alnifolia) shrub. It's a healthy looking shrub that is about 1.5 metres tall. It's leaves are dark green during spring and summer. It starts turning yellow/orange during the autumn season. The leaves also has a edgy spear shape. The shrub produces small purple berries that are edible.
