Description

I found more than ten Red Backed Salamanders in a small place at rock creek park. The salamanders where so abundant that whenever my dad or I lifted a log, there were at least one salamander. In one case there were three together!!! I thought it would be hard to find salamanders yesterday because it was pretty hot.

Description

I saw many Red Backed Salamanders in one spot at Rock Creek park. Every time I lifted a Rock or log, there usually was a salamander. Only one of the salamander was the so called lead colored and all of the rest were the regular red and black.
