We observed this male indigo bunting singing this song repeatedly and consistently over 3 days. The song, in m4a format, is included here. The full sonogram is deposited in the Macaulay Library file # ML 31598651. A snip of the sonogram is included here as a jpg. We could not find a similar indigo bunting song/sonogram. Any comments or help would be appreciated.

Beak has a dull pink color and very little 'knob". I presume this is an adult female. It appeared after the storm which occurred a couple of days ago and therefore seems to be free flying, although the bird was not seen flying.

Male in breeding plumage singing an unusual song over and over, unlike any normal indigo bunting song. Never sang any other song. Song is closest in description to a prairie warbler. Have the sound as a m4a file if anyone is interested
