Description

This is a Japanese Garden (tea garden) in Huntington Library. The scenery was amazing so it was hard to just pick one picture out of all the beautiful plants that were there. The garden provided a lot of little lakes and fern plants. This garden provided many plants like trees that obviously have roots. That means that these need to be watered in order to survive. The majority of the plants were ferns and mosses that were lined up by the water streams so they could observe water from the soil.

Description

Bamboo plants are very tall. They felt strong as I touched them and they are non-wood forestry products. Made the place feel fresh as I walked through. Lastly, It is a type of grass that grows as a whole, meaning that if it covers in acre might mean that the bamboo is only one individual.

Sea Anemones and Corals (Class Anthozoa)

Observer

Date

Description

This is a sea anemone that i observed at Cabrillo beach's aquarium. What I observed in this organisms is that touching it feels slimy. but the little tentacles stick to your finger as you touch it. Another thing all the anemones did when I touched them was that they all closed I guess as an instinct when they want to protect themselves.
