Seen from ship entering harbor. Very high winds at sea, so not a shock to see in the approach to the harbor. Local gulls were not happy.

Poor iPhone photo, but I saw the bird well through binoculars. Rufous cap, black mask with a bit of white in the lores and behind the eye, clean buffy-rose underbody, white patches in the wing, and the distinctive shrike bill with hook.
