Description

I was exploring the area around a pond when i came across a massive spider. it seemed very interesting so i decided to photograph it. When i looked away i began to notice other spiders that looked the same around me. When i payed more attention to my surroundings i found out i was in the middle of more than 30 spiders. They were in a grassy area where grasshoppers live in.

The Silverfish was found was under a rock out in the sun. It had long antennas in the front and two small look alike antennas in the back. It also had a sort of silver tint color.

Description

The Mud structure was found under a hidden rock. When I uncovered it their was nothing in them.The structure was made completely out of mud. It looked like a bee hive made out of dirt. The rock next to them had algae growing

Description

The Jerusalem Cricket was found under a rock digging around. It has very spiky legs which I assume are used for digging around the dirt. It also had a stripped abdomen.

Description

The inside of the Grasshoppers legs had a reddish pinkish color, while the outside has a stripped yellow and gray. The Grasshopper is the color yellow and it has small wings. It was difficult to capture this Grasshopper because it had very strong legs that let him hop long distances.

Description

They were under a log and with a pile of eggs. Once we saw the ants they quickly scattered and hid their eggs. They were huge compared to a regular ant. The ants had a brownish reddish thorax and a black head and abdominal. They were about 1/2 an inch and they have six legs. Some of the ants were larger than others. Their eggs are white and oval. Their nest had over 50 eggs and they hid them within minutes.
