What
Pale Oyster (Pleurotus pulmonarius)Observer
brojes19Description
Growing on standing dead snag (unsure whether it was a deciduous or coniferous tree) in small groupings. Width of cap: 3-5cm.
The size indicates that the species could be Pleurotus porrigens. Knowing whether the dead snag was deciduous or coniferous would help to identify the fungi because Pleurotus ostreatus is "rarely on coniferous trees" (Mushrooms Demystified).
