**To my knowledge, box elders are not native to this region of North America, it could possibly be introduced. (otherwise, I have no idea what this is!)

Multiple Sitka Spruce trees present throughout forest. The trees were relatively tall so it was difficult to identify them form just their needles, which is why I used their cones as a confirming factor for ID.

This small plant, inside-out flower, dominates the ground floor of the McLane Creek area. A little hard to identify since the unique flowers were not in bloom, but the numerous leaves lead to a positive ID.

Vegetation: Large sun-loving trees and numerous small creeks with a large pond surrounded by marsh plants.
