What
Diamondback Watersnake (Nerodia rhombifer)Observer
ctravisDescription
Temp: 77F
Four or five adult Nerodia, of both native species, were up in a vine enshrouded tree overhanging the Cibolo Creek. It's pretty neat seeing Nerodia 8 feet up a tree.
Many times you can look up into the dense foliage and see snake sheds laced all over like streamers. At any rate, this tree seems to be very useful for the local Nerodia.
