I keep looking for these each year but haven't seen them since 2003.
I just did a bit more research and found that the seeds don't germinate unless affected by fire which we did have there in 2001. I haven't seen how long individual plants should last.
There were a few of these bi colored flowers.
I've always known these as suncups and see them with that name at different sources.
