Description

A number of these bees have dug holes in our lawn. They hop and hover around and then alight on the lawn , sometimes entering the holes. I am fairly sure these are mining bees, iNaturalist Computer Vision suggests Miserable Mining Bee for osme of these pictures.

Description

Still here. On April 16, a much larger Texas Spint and a comparably sized green anole briefly shared this wall. On April 17, when this picture was taken, this small Texas spiny held the place it has been occupying for quite some time.
