A male Lawrence's Warbler, which is actually a Blue-winged x Golden-winged Warbler hybrid (Vermivora [cyanoptera x chrysoptera]), at Trustom Pond NWR. It was with a typical looking and sounding Blue-winged Warbler. The voice sounded to me like a modified Blue-winged Warbler, where the "bee" in "bee-buzz" was more modulated. However, a more experienced birder who reported it separately said it sounded more Golden-winged Warbler-like. I've read that the hybrids can sometimes sing both songs.
Vermivora lawrencei refers to this hybrid, but I wasn't sure if it is really valid and I didn't know how to enter recognized crosses into iNat.
