A Deer Tick (Ixodes scapularis) near East Matunuck State Beach. This is an adult male.
A male Harp Seal (1-2 years of age) during its release at the Charlestown Breachway. This seal was picked up on Moonstone Beach (a couple of miles east of this location) on Feb 13, 2012 with infected back wounds and rehabilitated at Mystic Aquarium.
